Afraid to say something

Hi everyone! ❤️ Have you ever been afraid to say something incase it instantly comes true? Putting something out there like: “I’m doing well with my blog at the moment” can be somewhat jinxed and a rut may fall into place where upon you wish you’d said nothing at all. Small fry in comparison to being afraid of something big like a car crash happening but never talking about your fears because you worry they will come to fruition.

Sometimes by speaking out about your hopes and dreams you start the process of manifestation and you’re heading along the right track but others not so much. I’m here today to say that those big things you worry about speaking out about, well they very rarely come true and I know it depends but in saying them out loud they have even less of a chance of doing so because they’re just that, worries.

Not that worries are a just, they certainly don’t feel like that. All I’m saying is that it’s better to speak out about what you’re feeling compared to holding it all in and making things ten times worse than they initially were. Don’t keep it all bottled up, for whatever reason. Even if it’s got nothing to do with thinking it will come true. Say something, anything.

Those pictures and words swirling around in your mind aren’t silly or stupid but they might be dangerous and you shouldn’t have to face that on your own. No one will be angry with you for saying what you’re feeling (they shouldn’t be anyway!), they will appreciate you letting them in on what you’ve been going through. A worry shared is a worry halved after all.

Thank you for reading! 😉 Have a beautiful day ❤️

  1. Great post Elsie! Nothing has the potential to send us crazy like worry, fear and doubts. It is important to share our concerns at times rather than letting them consume us. I think what is even more important is WHO we choose to share these concerns with. Some people can be naturally negative and can make your fears worse. Confide in people you can trust. Take it to the Lord and trust in His faithfulness to work it out for your good.

  2. Thanks, Elsie, for this post. It is so important to speak to someone about what worries and troubles us. I wonder if one way to manifest something other than the worry or trouble is to set an intention for clarity or understanding about what you are sharing – setting the stage for something positive to come about?

    1. Thank you so much for reading! 😄 Yeah that is very true! It can be difficult for some to do so but even that first step in the right direction of thinking deeper into why those thoughts are present is a positive one 💖
