One day I’ll get lost on these roads

I won’t remember them, face all scrunched up with confusion.

I’ll call a new place home but still feel a tug on the old heartstrings that yearn for me to come back here

where I once wrote about a future that felt so far and unattainable.

“You’re well and truly lost” I will mumble to no end through twists and turns but I won’t let it bother me too much because deep down I know where I am.

    1. Ahh thank you! Soo true! Wish we could figure out how to stay on that road where the windows are down and music is blaring but I guess we need the other times to appreciate that good part more and grow from it ❤
