What would you do if a person came and stood in front of you,
Your step backwards triggers their step forward and so you can’t run away
not unless you want them to chase you.
When you step forward and stand up for yourself they take a step back caught off guard
a blank expression remains on their face showing no sign of giving up so you mirror them,
devoid of emotion and show them no sign of weakness.
You are scared to go forward as they terrify you but its better than going back and having them follow you
for they are your fears, your worst nightmares.
It’s scary moving on in life but it is important to at least try or you’ll forever be wondering “what if?”.
Never doubt your inbuilt ability to do what’s best for you.
Yes you can stand still in your comfort zone (which in this case doesn’t seem so comfortable what with a creepy face staring back at you 😂) and there’s a chance your fears won’t come after you but don’t give them enough time to make that choice.
Deep down you know you can do it, you can face your fears.
In this surreal situation, what would you do?
Thank you for reading! 😉 I wrote this ages ago but knew I wanted to share it with you so off I went on an epic search through my messy notebooks to find it 😂 (I even found a clue in a more recent notebook telling me to post it and that I would find it in the previous notebook I used…I like to make things difficult for myself don’t I because I had no idea how or where to find that past notebook! 😂).
I was wondering what you would do if your fears were personified and brought to life? Would you face them head on or would you continue to go through them as you are doing now? What do you think would be a worse way of dealing with it and does it put it into perspective? Either way you must remember that you’re moving forward (or at least trying to which is just as good) and give yourself credit for that. Acknowledge what you’re capable of and what is achievable when you put your mind to it! I hope you have a beautiful day! ❤
This was a lovely post!!!!! You’re totally right, we can all overcome things, but sometimes we’re too scared and we just stay in our comfort zone, even if maybe it’s not a good idea. We all should decide in life based on what’s best for us *and won’t harm anyone right lol*
I think my biggest fear is to lose my family and my money, yeah let’s hope that won’t happen
Loved this post!!! 😀 ❤

Thank you sooo much!! Definitely, I’m the same worrying about losing my family. I find myself thinking that something could happen to them and putting myself down for all the missed opportunities I could have spent more time with them and then I realize that in getting lost in my thoughts I’m wasting a new opportunity with them in the present moment that I can actually do something about if that makes any sense? We’re basically our own worst enemies! 😂 I hope you’re having a wonderful day!! ❤

Loved this! ❤ Beautiful written! It’s hard for me to face a fear or someone I fear but it’s better facing it little by little then let it consume you. If you run away from it, it will keep going to you.

Thank you!! 😄 Exactly, I’d much rather try take steps or stay in the same place staring fear in the face compared to running away from it and having to face myself afterwards ❤
