A Moment In Time #3

At this moment in time the air is still and unmoving. I keep looking at the trees outside urging them to sway in a long forgotten breeze, wishing for a whole new season altogether. I’m in for a laugh as this one’s only just begun! ☀😂 It’s almost like nature is being held under a powerful spell and has been rendered immobile so that some hotshot artist can sit and paint it taking as many breaks as they please because nothings going to move out of place and ruin the portrait 🖼

Deadly pollen floats outside despite nothing wanting to carry it along. I’m alone in the front room, my sister has a terrible flu not made any better by her asthma and hay fever. I can hear the constant hum of the machine we have that is attempting to clean the air, what little air there is left anyway. I cannot believe that this time 3/4 months ago it was snowing ❄ Surely it can’t be too difficult to meet halfway and give a happy medium where we are neither human popsicles or feeling like we are walking on hot coal? 🔥

I have a new haircut, alarmingly close to a look I had when I was younger…no one even thought to tell me I was the spitting image of Krusty the clown 🙈😂 The thing is I never can tell how long my hair will be until it drys as it curls up and so I got severly lucky this time round by quesswork and can still have it up in a bun if need be! 💃 (That’s my proud stance 😂). There are far hotter countries out there which I cannot even begin to imagine how crazy it must be compared to this! I suppose it’s whatever you’re used to.

I’m looking forward to Autumn but trying so hard to make the most of the good stuff Summer brings along too. I’m planning on buying a bench for the garden to put on the side of the house that has a smidgen of air and I’m really excited about having somewhere to sit when I’m out there (we have an old bench but our Labrador Ruby jumped on it and it fell apart, that’s just fabulous for her self-esteem! She is the definition of an overgrown puppy and couldn’t help herself 😂).

Right now even water and air emojis look refreshing I’m that desperate for respite from it all! 🌬💧☔🌊 Heres to hoping the weather does a complete backflip like it usually does! 🙌 I promise to never complain about cold weather again, at least when it’s cold you can wear jumpers and scarves to keep warm 🤗 (Feel free to quote me on that the next time I actually do complain 😂).
