Hi everyone! How are you today? β€ There are a couple of books that have caught my attention either through circulating around the blogosphere or being advertised within books I loved and so I thought I should make a list of them here! This is not only so that I don’t forget about them (like that’ll happen, these books are all I can think about! π), it will hopefully set me on the right track to finally reading them! My motivation for writing this is that one day these books will feature on a future books im currently reading post π So without further ado, here are the books I want to read at the moment!
Everything Everything
By Nicola Yoon
A while back I thought I was buying Everything Everything after seeing so many reviews of it when I had only just gone and bought The Sun Is Also A Star! π I really enjoyed that but I didnt notice my mistake until I’d finished it! π Now I won’t make that same mistake twice as I know what to look out for and hopefully will get to read it!!
The Creakers
By Tom Fletcher
Since finishing The Christmasaurus in January and getting absorbed in an excerpt of this at the end of it I have wanted to read it! I have gotten into a routine of reading easy to follow books before I sleep (my old Jacqueline Wilson novels are resurfacing! π) and the Christmasaurus was just perfect for these moments so I’m hoping this book will be too! Someone should invent a “fingers crossed” emoji because I need it π
The picture house by the sea
By Holly Hepburn
Last year I came upon “A year at the Star and Sixpence” by Holly Hepburn on the boat back over from my holiday in the UK and at the time I was trying to be responsible and stick to one book so I forgot about it and then later all rules went out the window when I grabbed it for a bargain unexpectedly in a charity shop! ππ I ended up loving it so much that I wrote a review HERE.
Since then the author who wrote it has released a new book, The picture house by the sea, and to put it lightly I want to read it and I don’t think I can go a moment longer without at least trying to get my hands on a copy of it! I don’t even mind if it’s a library book and that’s saying something because I used to only get random books from there and buy the ones I really wanted to keep, treasure and hold forever…I’m growing up π’π Nah! I don’t overly mind now about owning specific books as long as I know I’ve read them and they’re in my head…..and if I really really enjoy something from the library then I will try buy it because I can’t help myself! π
Beads, Boys and Bangles
By Sophie Bennett
Last month I finished reading the book “Threads” by Sophie Bennett after buying it as part of a joblot of books in a charity shop! I flicked through it at the time thinking it could very well become a good read for before I sleep and although I ended up saving it for daytime I got through it pretty quickly! I didn’t realize until I searched for it on Goodreads to mark it as read that there were 2 more books written afterwards as I can’t imagine from where it would pick up again with the characters but I’m willing to find out!
The little book of Hygge & The little book of Lykke
I’ve seen a lot of bloggers raving about these and I’m highly impressionable! π I’ve picked them up a number of times on the beautiful but rare occasions I’ve been out to a book store and am beginning to realize that there are only so many times you can just stand there engulfed in books pretending you’ll buy them when you’re only making your indecisiveness stronger so I should just bite the bullet and do it! The fact that they were on sale the last time I saw them has of course spurred on this way of thinking too! ππ
Thank you for reading! π What books are on your wish list? Are there any that you think should be on my list? Let me know and have a lovely day! β€
Currently Iβm reading between you and me by Lisa Hall.

Everything Everything is the only book out of these that Iβve read. Be aware that itβs very ableist and as someone with a chronic illness, it really disturbed me. If you read it, just be discerning. π
